list

i'm having a hard day and decided i should list a few things i'm happy for and lift myself up a little.

- my best friend will, who read my email at work and immediately guaranteed me a hug when i get home. for listening to me and trying to make my happy all the time. for telling me i'm beautiful in a million different ways every time he sees me.

- my new glasses coming soon. finally, a stylish alternative to contacts for days when i don't feel like cramming plastic into my eyes.

- my new purse. upon discovering my insurance would pay for my glasses, i bought a giraffe print dooney & bourke knock off from a boutique store. i love it.

- my carpool. so convenient, and a pleasant part of my day.

- the view from my apartment. i really am lucky to be able to look out at the lake after work when i'm relaxing.

- new pens. nice pens. i can't lose these before they run out! i can't!

so, a short list for now. an abbreviation of the complete list of things that make me appreciate my life. i still can't wait for this work day to be done so i can go home and think about nothing and sip on tea and hot soup and write and read and watch food network and see will and relax.
